(PACFS)

Parent and Child Fostering Service Ltd is an independent fostering provider working in partnership with  Local Authorities, parents and carers to deliver quality family placements to children and young people who are ‘looked after’.

We are a private limited liability company registered in England under the Companies Act 1985 (company registration number 7813869).

We are registered and inspected as a Fostering Provider under the Care Standards Act 2002/ Fostering Service Regulations 2011, and therefore properly

 

 

Company statement on the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic

PACFS is committed to providing a safe environment for our employees, their families and our contractors. Throughout this coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic Ilika has taken practical steps and implemented robust measures to ensure the welfare of all.

We are monitoring the situation on a daily basis and are keeping up to date with the latest government and public health agencies’ advice.

We are encouraging staff to work from home when possible.

Moreover, we are keeping everyone updated on the actions being taken to limit risks of transmission in the workplace.

Our sites are adhering to social distancing regulations and signage is in place.

Most meetings are held online.

Enhanced hygiene practices have been implemented and information about improved hygiene is regularly shared.

Non-essential travel by Ilika personnel is discouraged.

Only essential visitors (contractors and partners) are able to come on site.

Staggered start and finish times are encouraged to reduce potential contacts at entrances and exits of the premises.

Individual PPE for our laboratory facilities are stored in personal lockers.

Employees have been given information to help them identify symptoms that might be expected if someone contracts the virus.

Employees have been advised of the steps to be carried out if they have COVID-19 symptoms at work or outside of work and if they are contacted by Ilika in the event that they have been in “close contact” with a suspected COVID-19 case at work.

We also have services at hand to deep clean the premises immediately should any potential cases be identified so that our staff are safe, and work can carry o

We are recruiting foster carers from diverse backgrounds to ensure a wide choice of appropriate placement options for children and young people.
We provide a  responsive and supportive professional 24-hour service for foster carers and regular support and visits from an appropriately qualified Supervising Social Worker.

Whatever your marital status, ethnicity, religion – practising or not, in a same sex relationship, if you can demonstrate to us that you can help support a child placed into your care then we can work together.
